We’ve been in the Custom Manufacturing business for over 50 years.  We have invested millions of dollars in our Training, Equipment and Facilities.  We have decades of experience built right in.  We are ready and capable of handling your project.

Our Laser cutting operation is literally second to none.  We are able to process up to 30,000 pounds of material in a day.   This laser cutting equipment is fully automated, and is capable of running “Lights Out” on an as needed basis.  We automatically measure and load the material, laser cutting all required parts, unloading cut parts and moving them away from the machine.

Our Bending or Forming operations include 4 press brakes with tonnage up to 250 tons of capability, 6 axis capability, and the expertise to know how to use it.  CNC Brakes, loads of tooling, and the experience to get the job done. 

Our welding operations include a highly skilled, certified welding team that will be up to the task of your challenge.  Our Robotic welding department  utilizes both  multi Headstock/Tailstock  positioners, as well as turntables to meet your welding needs.  This means we are competitive on low or high volume runs, and generate the high quality, consistent welding you demand.

Our machining operations include several CNC barfeed Lathes, CNC chuckers, and several vertical Machining Centers with up to 120″ of X travel, AND 4th Axis and 5th Axis machining capability.

Founder, Emanuel Carlson, recognized a gap in the manufacturing industry. He saw a problem that needed a solution, and he provided it. Starting in the basement of their home in Burnsville, Minnesota, Emanuel and his wife, Opal began to produce the products that customers were asking for at a reasonable price. In doing so, they earned a valued customer that we still service today. Soon they had to add another garage on the family homestead to keep up with demand. It wasn’t long before Emanuel saw the inevitable: the company was going to grow larger than the homestead property would allow.
New property was purchased in 1971 in the community of Kerkhoven, in West Central Minnesota. A new facility was built. Over the years, several additions and new buildings have been added. Additional equipment and capabilities also continued to be added to meet the needs of a growing customer base.
Today, the company has two manufacturing facilities with a total square footage of approximately 40,000 square feet.
